What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser to remember information — session, preferences, technical data. On Playlist Atlas we only use cookies that are necessary for the directory to work, plus the optional ones you choose to enable.

Which cookies we use

This is the complete, honest list. If we ever add new cookies, we update this page and the banner re-appears so you can decide again.

Embedded Spotify player

When you open a playlist page, we display the official Spotify player in an iframe. Spotify AB may set its own third-party cookies under its policy. This is required for the player to work (authentication, preferences, playback).

If you do not want Spotify to set cookies, do not open playlist pages or block third-party cookies in your browser. The directory remains browsable.

Analytics and marketing cookies

We currently use no analytics or marketing cookies. If we ever add any (for example, Plausible, Google Analytics, or similar), they will always be off by default and only enabled with your explicit consent.

How to change your choice

You can change your choice at any time from the footer, via the "Cookie policy" link. There you will find a button to reopen the banner and reconfigure categories.

You can also delete cookies manually from your browser. Next time you visit, the banner will re-appear.
